The region is experiencing growth which has lead to multiple semi-functional nodes. No true downtown feel exists in any of these areas. Additionally, these nodes have led to suburban sprawl.

How do we create a space that can contribute to the existing urban areas and act as a catalyst for greater interaction between the residents and the businesses?

Deliverables

This is an output format from Archicad. Please reach out to Graphisoft/Archicad for a trial if needed.
Submit a maximum of four (4) sheets 24” x 36”. The sheets should be submitted as a digital PDF.

No. We designed the competition so that one of the challenges is to use Archicad, the only design software our firm uses. A BIMx link is required for a submission to be considered.

Registration

Yes! Students in any location can submit an entry. Winning entries can be used in professional portfolios. However, U.S. law prohibits sending money to certain countries. For more information, please see the list here: https://home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/financial-sanctions/sanctions-programs-and-country-information.
Teams of up to 3 students may participate. All participants must be current students or recent graduates (less than 5 years).
